Todays news flash is a very disturbing one indeed. It will shock you to know about the blood curdling things that are growing in the woods... THEFT.
So many young kids have gone into the work of theft in order to become rich. To them, being rich, is being famous. Most of this has sadly started with the 4th and 5th graders. As you might know, our featured fort is "The Perfume Shoppe" and the owner of the featured fort is Stefan.
He gave me some amazing news about the theft that is going around:
"Most of the theft has been caused sadly, by the 4th and 5th graders. As a 5th grader, I am sad to see so much theft going around. A fort near mine that is just being built has a couple of 4th and 5th graders. And I have watched them steal their way into golden corn cobs and sticks" said Stefan, as we walked down, thru the forest to find the exact fort and we watched as they sorted their corn cobs and packed sticks on the top layer to make it warmer inside.
"As you might know, Dana, the increase of theft means the lower of how much a corn cob amounts too. pretty soon, a corn cob will be worth a penny and a golden will be worth only ten corn cobs" Clearly, I asked Stefan what he meant by this shocking discovery.
"Well, as you might know, more forts have been finding golden corn cobs lying on the ground, if this keeps happening, then golden corn cobs will be as much as one corn cob, and at that, indian corn cobs will be worth how much golden corn cobs once were worth" he shook his head as he said it.
After a bit he confessed:
" After a while of witnessing people steal for fame and fortune, some forts have started making traps and even, kicking out members of the fort because they SAY that they saw that person steel a corn cob. Now, I am sad when I see the poor people, walking on the side of the path saying: I once was in a fort with corn cobs galore. now that's no more" So, do a favor to a person you see standing by the pathway and give them a corn cob to help them start a new fort, maybe a better one than the last. And thank you, for reading todays News Flash.
